COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 Response

Hello Alliance Fellowship Family,

I pray that this message finds you healthy and well!

The leadership team of Alliance Fellowship has talked and prayed about the health issues that we are facing right now in the world, we have also reached out to medical professionals and sought counsel from them. We do not want to take any actions out of a spirit of fear, because we know that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound mind.” (2 Tim 1:7)

However, we do want to do what is wise and prudent, not only for our church family, but for our community as a whole. At this time, we have decided not to hold any live services on our campus this weekend in order to do our part in not spreading the COVID 19/Coronavirus.

We will still have an on-line service available on Facebook Live at our normal service time, 10:00am. That service will be available here: https://www.facebook.com/AllianceFellowship

I hope that you will all join us for a digital community gathering this weekend, and that we will soon all be back together as a whole church family! And please feel free to send the Facebook link to any family or friends that may find themselves in the same situation.

I also personally ask that you would continue to be faithful in your tithes and offerings to God so that we can continue to serve our community together. Here is a link to our on-line giving https://alliancefellowship.churchcenter.com/giving

I know that many of us do not feel like this issue is a personal threat against us, and it may very well not be… but a strong move to protect those at high risk by slowing community transmission is acting out of love for others and selfless participation in a community response.

I also ask that you would use this time to keep your eyes open to ways that God might use you to serve those in need around you! God may use this time as an amazing chance to minister to our community and build His Kingdom.

If you have senior citizens or people with compromised immune systems in your life, give them a call or a text and check in on them, ask them if they need food or medicine… or if there is anything you can do to help them. If you do know of people in need in our community and your church family can help to fill that need, please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help.

Finally, I pray for health for all of you, and that this virus will soon pass, and that we can continue to meet and grow together as a church family! May God bless you all!

In Christ,
